Campfire: a table of people you might actually click with

What We’re Building · 3 min read

A small local evening shaped by how people connect. City interest lists are open; no venue or date is promised yet.

Meeting new people often starts with a long stretch of browsing and guessing. Campfire is a simpler idea: one small table in your city, matched for the way people connect, and an evening you can decide to attend.

What joining means right now

City interest lists are open. You can add where you live and the nights you are free; questions about what you would enjoy talking about are optional. Joining is free. It is not a ticket, booking or promise of a particular date. If enough compatible people in a city become ready, the plan is to send a clear invite with a place, time and table size before anyone chooses whether to go.

A good table needs more than a postcode

Campfire aims to seat people from their communication profiles, built as they analyse different relationships. You can join the city list before that profile is ready, but you need enough analysed conversations before the product can place you at a table with confidence. The page shows your progress rather than silently treating a new account as match-ready.

No browsing people beforehand

The imagined invite shares the venue, time and number of people, not a gallery of names or photos to judge in advance. Campfire is a room near you. Kindred is the separate idea of being introduced to one person for friendship or dating, wherever they are.

Nothing is booked yet and there is no launch date. Campfire is collecting cities so a first night can begin where a real table is possible.
