Kindred — find your person, matched on how you actually communicate
Kindred matches people on how they really talk — rhythm, repair instinct, the way they show they care — rather than on a bio anyone can write. It is for friendship as much as for dating, and it reads real conversations instead of a form you filled in about yourself.
What it matches on
- Behaviour, not a bio. How you open, how you repair after tension, what you need, where you go quiet — all read from conversations you have already had.
- Friendship as much as dating. A match is a starting point to explore, not a promise of a date.
- Built from work already done. Every relationship you analyse updates the profile Kindred will match on. There is nothing extra to fill in.
Where this is
Kindred is being built and is not open yet. Matching needs a pool of real communication profiles before it can suggest anyone worth meeting, and that pool is built one conversation at a time. Enrolling will take five different relationships analysed, spanning the three kinds we read — romantic, friendship and family — because one chat only shows who you are with one person.
Campfire is the same profile pointed somewhere nearer: a night out in your own city rather than one person anywhere in the world.
