Why these books, songs and places were picked for you
Your Mirror · 2 min read
The For You shelf connects recommendations to your communication patterns, and tells you why each idea belongs there.
A recommendation is only personal if it can answer the quiet follow-up: why this, for me? For You starts with patterns from your analysed conversations and connects each suggestion to something observed about your interests, routines or the way you approach a week.
More than a media shelf
The Mirror profile can suggest books, films, music and podcasts, alongside places to go, small ways to recharge and goals you could actually start. Each pick includes a reason. Report recommendations are different: they are tied to one relationship and can include music, films, books or thoughtful gifts for a person in that chat.
Why it might not appear yet
Mirror waits for at least two analysed relationships before building the broader For You suggestions. One chat may tell a strong story about a connection, but it is a narrow basis for deciding what fits your wider life. The page tells you when more context is needed; a thin profile should not be dressed up as a confident recommendation.
These are invitations, not instructions. Save the book that sounds right, ignore the destination that does not, and return after another analysis to see whether the picture has changed.
